SEPA Appeal: Granted!
The King County hearing examiner ruled that more environmental review and study from the impacts of incoming developments be completed before more permitting can continue.
Getting legal acknowledgement of the environmental and infrastructure burdens from these projects is a huge win! It is also exceedingly rare and speaks to the incredible amount of hard work that has gone into protecting our water sources and rural community.
You can read the examiner's findings in the linked PDF. The summary is that King County must conduct cumulative impact analysis for all 7 plat applications for both environmental impacts and impact on rural character. Strong work, everyone!
